ReplyDeleteChristopher– This morning I am hosting a call with Cisco’s head of switching and Data Centers, John McCool. Attached below are the 15 questions I plan to ask him on the call.
ReplyDeleteRecall, switching is the largest segment of Cisco (33% of Rev), highest profitability (73-74% gross margin est) and is going now through a massive refresh cycle. It grew 19% and 7% sequentially in the last two quarters.
Hope you’ll find the call interesting. Please send additional questions you’d like me to ask.
Regards
Tal

Millicom provides direct exposure to fast growing emerging markets in Central America and Africa that are difficult to invest in due to lack of investment vehicles. The company's early entry in most of these markets has given it a formidable market position that has allowed it to effectively compete with much larger operators and maintain high margins - Well diversified revenue base. Millicom operates in thirteen Latin American and African markets, giving it well diversified sources of revenues. In eleven out of these thirteen markets, it is a top two operator in terms of market share, thanks to its early entry and competitive operations. Latin American markets are relatively slower growth compared to Africa, which still has significant upside in terms of wireless penetration.
